Founded in 1973 by Steven Scheiner, CSM began as a west coast rep agency primarily calling on the electrical distribution and the wholesale channels.

Since then, we’ve developed a national sales organization and expanded our customer portfolio to include big box & hardware retailers, e-commerce, value stores, grocery and other specialty customers.

Our national expansion and continued growth can be attributed to our leader’s relentless ability to stay one step ahead of the competition and willingness to reinvest in the business.
